Absolutely amazing treatment, had severe migraines most of my life and debilitating low back pain. I liked the fact that this office doesn't just do adjustments, but they treat the whole person with X-rays, wobble cushions, neck traction, vibration plates, and seminars for education. They have programs for exercise, nutrition, mind, shop with docs, spinal care class, detox programs and more. This Physical therapist was desperate for help because I was in so much pain with my back, I could not climb the stairs, or get up and down from the toilet , or brush my teeth , or get in and out of bed, or even dress myself, let alone do my job, without extreme pain and difficulty. You see, I had lost 2" with scoliosis and something dreadful was happening to my low back. Then there was upper back and neck pain as well, limiting me in how long I could stand and do dishes... Maybe five minutes, or sit and do chart work or fold clothes... Maybe 15 minutes. Now, after being with Dr Pellow for six months, I am so much more functional, able to work both at home and on the job with only occasional pain which I would rate anywhere from 2-6 out of 10, instead of 10 out of 10. Also, if that 6 out of 10 pain hits, I now know the exercises and stretches I can do to alleviate my pain, and correct my flexed, side-bent posture. There are many wonderful perks that makes Dr Pellow and his clinic stand out. The quality of care with insistence on doing the exercises necessary to help myself, and which also prepares my spine to be ready for, and to get the most out of Dr Pellow's hands-on treatments. He then has other modalities such as a lumbar traction table, and vibration plates which helps maintain the good effects of the chiropractic treatment. He also has several wonderful colleagues who are just as expert and effective in their treatments. It is not just the same treatment every time. It may be a quick manipulation, or a prolonged stretch, or a combination of the two, depending on what their trained eyes see as they listen to your complaints. Another thing that sets Dr Pellow's clinic apart is the ongoing training free of charge: exercise sessions, recipe nights, and education on a variety of topics from "healthier diets" to "conquering cancer". I have been with Dr Pellow for about three years. I had gone to the 9 News health fair and saw their booth and stopped to find out what it was about. I had been having terrible neck issues. I could barely move my neck at all. Randy, Dr. Pellow's associate, was there. I talked to him about my neck issues and setup a time to meet with Dr. Pellow. After meeting with him I was not convinced that he could help me. I had seen a couple of doctors before and they could not figure out what was wrong.
