They all said that I didn't have enough skin for lower eyelid surgery, and they refused to do it on the grounds they all felt it would permanently pull my lower lid down and not help the wrinkles anyway. And that I had to "live with it." Prior laser treatments did not diminish the wrinkles either, so I was out of options until I found Dr. Adam Summers. He disagreed with the other Plastic Surgeons, and guaranteed it would not permanently pull my lower lid down. He did the upper lids, lower lids, and an upper cheek lift for a great price and I am thrilled with the results. My eyelid is not pulled down and the wrinkles are gone! Just as importantly, the reason I would also recommend Dr. Summers as unlike Plastic Surgeons I've had surgery with in the past, he cared just as much for me and my endless questions or concerns postop as he did before I paid him. He even told me preop that if any wrinkles remained he would stand by his work and get rid of them for free. That is the mark of a truly great Plastic Surgeon. My rhinoplasty was customized to suit my face and does not look "cookie cutter". My nose looks very natural and suits my face significantly better did than the pre-op version. Dr. Summers was recommended to me by a friend who had breast implants and a tummy tuck at the Maryland Plastic Surgery Center. She was delighted with the results. When she learned that I was interested in some facial work, she immediately told me that the best cosmetic surgeon in town is Adam Summers. She showed me the work he had done for her and I couldn't believe how incredible she looked. I couldn't even find her scars.
I asked around some more and it turns out that Dr. Summers has quite a reputation for facelift surgery and is one of the few real experts for injections around the face.
After my visit with him today, I had to let everyone know that if you are interested in any type of cosmetic procedure or surgery, you MUST visit Dr. Summers at his beautiful medical spa.
He offers a complimentary appointment and was right on time. He spent an entire hour with me reviewing my concerns. Although it was late in the day and I know he had been working all day, he was kind and funny (and cute!) and made me feel very comfortable.
I had some injections done and I look great. No, I look better than great! Truly, I'm thrilled with the results. This was the first time I had ever had anything done, and Dr. Summers made sure I was comfortable and that it was painless and that I looked just the way I wanted!

I was very self-conscious but afraid that having it corrected would only make it worse. I have always been "shy" about my breast size...or lack there of...and had wanted implants from early on. After 3 children I still had no breasts and finally decided to "bite the bullet". I had my procedure done in May of 2005 at the Maryland Plastic Surgery Center and loved, loved, loved the results... A couple months ago (and 4 years after my initial augmentation) I noticed some almost immediate volume decrease in my left breast. I called Dr. Summers office and his staff promptly set me up an appointment to check it out. Within less than a week I was back on the table having my implant replaced (at no cost to me) and it had turned out to be a defect in the implant valve. Dr. Summers was as amazing with my replacement implant as he was with the initial implant...which concerned me initially as I wrongly assumed that since it was covered under the warranty that I would not be as much of a "priority" as "paying" clients. I was certainly wrong about that aspect as Dr. Summers was more than willing to resolve my issue as quickly as possible. I am contemplating liposuction or maybe a tummy tuck... When I decide to do it Dr. Summers will be my first choice!! For anyone out there contemplating a procedure...set yourself up a consult with Dr. Summers...you will walk out of his office with confidence in him as your surgeon as well looking forward to a date for your procedure...what are you waiting for?

I have always had a "spare tire" around my stomach. My senior year in high school a student was pregnant. There was a rumor that it was me because of my “pouch.” After Igot married, my husband would put his arm around me at night and pinch my "pouch". He didn't mind my pouch but I HATED it. After twochildren, it only got worse. Finally, Ihad a consult with Dr. Summers. I wasthe perfect candidate! Not only did hetake away the spare tire, a little lipo helped with my muffin top. I am a 33 year old mother of three and I've wanted to have breast augmentation surgery for several years. I went from a large C-cup size to less than a A-cup after have my third child, but two things held me back. One was the fear of things going wrong and the other was financial. One day I sat down to my computer and went online to research cosmetic surgery and I came across Dr. Summers' website and I am very pleased that I did. Everyone I have come in contact with has been great. I am very pleased with Dr. Summers, he has been nothing short of excellent throughout the entire process. The surgery itself went great, I experienced very little pain, most was managed with Advil instead of the prescription pain killer I was prescribed. I can not say enough how smoothly all of this has gone, I am now three months post-surgery and in a D-cup, and I now have the confidence I always feel I have lacked. For any woman who has gone through what childbirth does to your body or just wants to have breast augmentation surgery, it is more than worth it and I would highly recommend the Maryland Plastic Surgery Center.

I chose Dr. Summers from a list of 4 other doctors that I went to. He sat and took time to listen to my concerns and he was not in a rush to do anything to me. He spent time in person and emails to answer my questions. I did not feel rushed at all. Dr. Summers performed laser lipo as well as fixed my belly button from a previous procedure. Love the end result. Feel much better about my appearance and look much much better than before. Followed his instructions for after care and I could not be happier. Highly recommend him.
He has also been available for questions after when I had them. Could not ask for a better Dr. Very happy that I chose him for this procedure.

In the past I have endured injection sclerotherapy the old fashioned way, with injections. Recently I underwent laser sclerotherapy by Dr. Summers using the laser and without a doubt it is a much less painful treatment. Because of a terrible car crash in 1995, I have been unable to breathe correctly and I have not looked like myself for a long time. My breathing became unbearable and then I was so lucky to have found Dr. Summers. My rhinoplasty surgery has changed me so much. I can’t thank you enough for what you have given me…You have given me much more than a facelift. You have given me a spirit lift, a lift for my soul and heart. Is it possible to operate on one’s soul? I feel that you have.
You put in much more than sutures… you have added a lightness, a joi de vivre, and, perhaps more importantly, a thrill of adventure and self-appreciation that years of psychiatric help would fail to accomplish – and all of this flows to my family and friends and those around me.
