JEFFREY L HAYNES - ART (Active Release ... in CHATTANOOGA, TN

Active Release Technique (ART) is a hands-on soft-tissue treatment system which reduces muscle adhesions and scar tissue that are contributing to muscle weakness and pain.
ART treatment is a manual therapy administered by Dr. JEFFREY HAYNES in Tennessee to certain soft tissue structures of the body. The purpose of this therapy is to relieve the body of adhesions and scar tissue, which can form when soft tissue structures are exposed to damaging forces. These forces usually come about in one of three different ways: a sudden or acute injury, a cumulative or chronic injury like carpal tunnel syndrome, or pressure injury from external forces such as poor posture.
Most people seen by Dr. JEFFREY HAYNES are good candidates for Active Release Treatment therapy. Initially, ART was widely embraced because of its effectiveness in getting professional athletes back onto the playing field quickly. However, the same can be applied to just about anyone in pain seeking to return to their activities or hobbies.
ART is a state of the art soft tissue treatment system that utilizes movements and massage to improve muscles, tendons, ligaments, fascia and nerves. Conditions that are treated by Active Release Technique in Tennessee include headaches, back pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, shin splints, shoulder pain, sciatica, plantar fasciitis, knee problems, rotator cuff injuries, back/neck pain, and tennis elbow. Many of these conditions can be resolved quickly and permanently with ART.
Patients with certain medical conditions, such as osteoporosis, gout, bone cancer, or bone or joint fractures might risk further damage if they attempt treatment by ART and are generally not good candidates for chiropractic care.
Every ART session is actually a combination of examination and treatment. Dr. JEFFREY HAYNES evaluates the texture, tightness and movement of muscles, fascia, tendons, ligaments and nerves. Abnormal tissues are treated by combining precisely directed tension with very specific patient movements.
These treatment protocols - over 500 specific moves - are unique to ART. They enable Dr. JEFFREY HAYNES to identify and correct the specific problems that are affecting each individual patient. ART is not a cookie-cutter approach.
The cost of an Active Release Technique treatment will vary depending on geographic region, experience of the chiropractor, and the amount and number of areas being treated. Costs can range widely depending on the issue being treated. In general though, patients in Tennessee can expect to pay from $40 to $70 per treatment. Most health insurance plans cover some level of chiropractic care, but you should check with your individual plan to determine coverage.
